Before a filing date is finalized, I usually check weekends, court holidays, and whether the rule counts calendar days or court days. That avoids deadline drift when a hearing date moves late in the week.
A short checklist also helps: confirm the governing rule, count forward once, count backward once, and save the date with the court holiday calendar beside it.
